   msp2315 - Welcome to the Board
   
   Riched20.dll is related to Outlook and I do not see why it should stop you using Internet Explorer.
   
   Nevertheless see this MS KB article ....
   
   You receive a "Riched20.dll" error messages and Outlook 2003 stops responding when you start Outlook 2003
