    Hello:

I am ready to upgrade from Win95c to Win98SE . . . using a "clean install" from DOS to do so.

Since I tweaked my BIOS SETTINGS while using Win95c OS . . . am I supposed to return the BIOS "back" to the Factory Default Settings before installing Win98SE OS ??

If yes, I notice those DEFAULT settings can be "Minimal" or "Optimal" and wondered which should I choose to return to.

    Thank you.

Personally, I'd leave 'em right where you have 'em. You can always go back and try setup or optimal or anything else you want, but if you have already tweaked 'em and are happy, an OS change shouldn't impact them. And, if you ever get too aggressive and can't boot, just clear your cmos using the jumper and you're back in business.
