Can I retrieve photos from my hard drive that were only viewed from my camera in windows/fax viewer. I edited some and rotated some etc and i saved some photos in that program, but i didnt actually download from the camera. I viewed them from the DCM file, when i inserted the SD card into the laptop.
I lost my camera on the tube so now have about 500 photos that i have viewed that i need to locate on the computer if possible. Please help!!!!

    Welcome to WindowsBBS;)

Sorry - but if the files are on the camera AND you didn't copy them...they are gone.

I'm having trouble understanding the "on the tube" part of this sentence.

And I agree with Steve, if the camera memory card is lost and you never copied the picture files on it to your hard drive then they cannot be retrieved from it.

I have a friend who refuses to copy his pics to his computer too. I plan to show him this thread.

In England, the "Tube" refers to the underground public transit system. It's akin to the subway in N.Y. or the Bart in San Francisco.

I agree, the pictures are lost since they never existed on the system except in the RAM.
