    Hi Ramona:

New twist this morning. Attempting to retrieve my mail, I received the message "The RETR command did not suceed. The mail server responded: unable to open that message. "

What do you suggest from here?

    Hi Bob,

All I can tell you is that it is listed in the Mozilla Bug List, #146453..

It seems some users are able to retrieve Mail on the second try. Has this been your experience? Another user reports:
It appears Mozilla/Netscape has some problems dealing with malformed headers.

Read the entire Bug Report for more information. There is no absolute workaround.

    Ramona :D

The command is now succeeding and mail can be retrieved from the server. I assume this was a server problem that has been resolved.

    Hi Ramona:

We sent our last messages simultaneously. I tried to retrive several times without success. Then rebooted with no change in condition. On the 3rd try after rebooting, the command succeeded.

I will look at the bug list and let you know if the problem occurs again. Thanks,
