Rstricting sites on IE allow only sites that I want

Hello, does anybody have any ideas on how to restrict the internet on IE? I only want to have access to http://www.ups.com and nothing else. Thank you in advance.

Make it your home page and don't go anywhere else?

Do you mean make it impossible to go to any other site?

You might post your reasoning and we might be able to help better.:)

Yes, I have seen other places such as libraries that can only access certain websites and it is impossible to access anything else and I am not sure if they are using 3rd party software or just plain IE configuration, Thank you.

Is it because you have other people using your computer and you want to restrict their access to the internet?

There are programs out there to filter internet site for language or sex. You can also set up your IE so that there is a filter for stuff you set up. It is in the options>content tab.

Librarians have been up in arms over someone requiring them to use any type of censorship.

The one big problem with those programs is they either are too stringent or they are not stringent enough.

Here is a Google search that will take you to a lot of sites for filtering discussion and programs.

alfredo7--Thanks for posting back. Always good to learn that a suggestion helped. Hope it really does work for you. Note that if people learn/use the IP addresses (numerical) of blocked sites, they can defeat the tweak. Depends how computer savvy they are.
