restoring email files??

    is there any way to get back an email file that was saved to a created folder and then deleted.....the files are in windows/application data/identies/etc but they won't open or copy, etc?? these files were deleted by mistake and while it isn't a total disaster, I would like to have a few of them back? I have tried everything that I have any knowledge of. help would be appreciated

    I actually solved this problem myself (finally) in case there is interest.....I created a second identity and then imported the files to it....then, from that identity, I once more imported them to the main identity.....then I deleted the new identity. :D
