    Hi,
Windows XP (up to date), when I right click start, C is not expanded. It has a plus sign next to it. I don't know why this occurred.
Up to a few days ago it opened with the folders on C showing (no plus sign on C) Now it does not display the folders unless I click the plus sign.

Yesterday, Adobe installed reader vs. 9.0 and since then this memory challenged celeron PC has had further slowness. (Adobe installed after the right-click start problem had occurred)

Has anyone had problems with adobe 9 (as to slowing the system?) - I removed it features from start-up (msconfig) no help
Has anyone experienced a different display pattern for right-clicking the windows xp start button
The reason I am concerned about the right-click (windows explorer) alternate display is that it occurred on another computer (windows 98) and after that the other PC was never the same.

    Thank you in advance!

Partly Solved - Restore Registry and Adobe 9 (1 problem now)

    Hi,
The explorer issue has been solved: I had too many folders on C to have them all displayed when right-clicking the start button. I only had to remove some folders.

Despite restoring the registry, the adobe issue persists...

    Thanks
