Re; Acer laptop with wifi only access to internet
Had no internet connection today even though my phone did have access.
The tech support guy at Acer had me reinstall the network adapter & "reset" my computer, resulting in still no wifi and removal of ALL applications including all of the Acer apps that came with the computer.
I was able to solve the wifi issue by restarting the modem and router but also discovered the restore points were deleted, only making available a restore point today, not producing a restore point from a previous day. Is there any way to restore the computer to a previous time before the reset happened? An offline file was created listing all the apps that were removed.

Hi ihadnohorse. Unless you have a system image of your computer that had your current programs installed that you can use to restore your system, there is no way to undo a System Reset of Windows 10.

Did you have your personal data backed up?
