restore from restore point

    For the life of me I'm drawing a blank....again:) How do we restore in xp from a restore point?

    Or go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore....gets you to the same place where you can choose to restore or set a restore point.

    Or, for status check on/off only, right click "My Computer" > Properties > System restore.

    Or, WindowKey+Break > System Restore.
    ;)

    Zephyr my winxppro doesn't allow restore from any of the tabs menus! I tried that one first by the way:D

    Yeah, that's an old M$ smokescreen just to confuse you. :)

    Actually that just a quick way to see if you have it turned off or on.

    Another way to access the full menu is, Start > Run > type msconfig > Launch System Restore tab.

    Zephyr the msconfigs "Button" Launch System Restore works on my VER: XP PRO, thx all:) I'm taking memory pills now:D
