Restart will not work

When I go to start/shut down/ restart/ ms dos/
I click on restart it will not work. I remember seeing a window come up, I think with the slip of my fingers while typing, with something about starting in safe mode. I panicked and rebooted. Does it mean that I can only restart in safe mode? If so , how do I get back to normal restart?

 

you selected DOS?

bet you have already hard booted and now back in winows right??
reading the prosedure you wrote , you will be starting in Dos. not window, are you getting something like a C/: (been a long time) type in exit should bring you back to windows

 

If the menu comes up showing that it is going to restart in safe mode it should not be in DOS.

Let it complete the safe mode and then restart Windows and it should be OK.

A safe mode restart in normal after an improper restart or shutdown.
