    Hi all,
I have reset the popup counter on my tool bar once before, while mucking about with something or other.
I cannot, for the life of me, remember how.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
    Cheers and TIA
    Graeme

    Graeme,
where did you reset the popup counter, and into what. Is it one of those toolbars (which i disabled). I have the Google toolbar in IE. There is a reset to default button, there. I hope you find something like that.

    Hi Westside,
I neglected to mention in this post that I am using NS 7.2 and it's default settings. Sorry but I don't trust IE. Google advanced search is my home page.
What I am trying to do is reduced the number of toolbars I have running yet retain all the basic features I want (e.g. Popup Blocker, Clear Browser History and Home buttons). I am running a 15 inch monitor at 800 x 600 resolution. I am afraid the extra pair of eyes I use are halfway towards the Coke bottle dimensions, hence the screen resolution.
I can't remember where I reset the counter. That's why the post.
    Cheers and thanks,
    Graeme.

I did not mean to suggest that you use IE. I, just, happen to have the Google Toolbar in IE, and, I am pretty sure that there is a Netscape/Mozilla variety.
The toolbar that you are referring to, is the Netscape toolbar, and, it has on the left side a Netscape button. If you select options, you can do a few things, including resetting the count. My toolbar is hidden, as it takes too much spaces for something I don't need. I can add Google as my Search Engine with the mycroft extention
From what I can see the only thing I don't have, which the Netscape Toolbar provides is the count. I know that AOL had made possible add it to IE. It has no business being part of Netscape, being redundant.

    Thanks Westside.
    That did the trick!
I am going to have a look at this Mycroft stuff later.
    Cheers

Great! And, if you install the mycroft extention, don't be overwhelmed. You are not obligated to keep each Search engine.
