Is there any way to reset my monitor to original settings. I made the viewable area smaller using buttons on the monitor but it will not not get bigger and fill the screen. I have tried Control panel Display and adjusted settings there but my screen lenth still does not fill the screen monitor. I think one of the buttons is not working on the monitor and was wondering if there is another way to adjust these settings.

    Hi, Mike ~

    Is this your new monitor?
Have you tried making the viewable area bigger?

When you say it will not fill the screen, are you saying there exists a black border around either all or two of the edges of the window?

If this is the case, then the settings would be on the monitor proper, not in the software. If one of the buttons is in fact not working, there is no other way to adjust those settings.

No it was a monitor that was lent to me to see if my other monitor was bad or not. My old monitor was bad as this one works fine other than the buttons on the monitor.
I did find another monitor at work that will do for now. I got it from the company I work for as salvage for $10. It works good and will do the job until I'm ready to upgrade.
Thanks for all the help you have been in replying about all my problems.:)
