    can anyone help, when i switch my pc on i get an error box saying.....explorer has caused an error in RES.DLL............ i,m using mel edition....thanks

    You might get a clue by doing a file search for RES.DLL when found right click and in the context menu go to properties then version
    write down for us all the info under each catagory
    company name
    file version
    internal name
    etc etc
