I know how to set the "reply to" under account prefs, but is there a way to set it when you send each email?

I am asking for a co-worker who often sends reports via email for her supervisor, but she wants the replys to go to the supervisor, not her. Right now when she send it, the person always asks her questions about the reports, and she has to then forward on the email. She wants to send it, so that if the person clicks on "reply" it goes to the supervisor, not her.

Is there a way to do this in outlook express?

The reply to is an all or nothing switch...

Co-Worker could maybe setup a second account to use when she's sending stuff for the boss..

that's what I was thinking. Are there other mail clients that would be more friendly for this?

I know with my ISP we have an online portal (may be like Yahoo's) where I can have a "drop down list" of emails I want it to come from.

    raingirlIT--In OE
"Reply To" sets up a new message to the person that sent you the email.
"Forward" sets up a new message to someoneelse who you have to choose from the "To:" line.

I think your friend has to get the supervisor to allow your friend to send messages from the supervisor's email account. That can be set up in OE File|Identities. Then replies will be sent to the supervisor, but your friend will not see them unless she also makes changes in OE Tools|Accounts. The box "Include this account..." on the supervisor's General tab has to be checked.

Simpler, but perhaps less reliable, is for your friend to put a message in the mail sent on behalf of the supervisor to the effect "Please send your reply to supervisor@yyy.com ".

Thanks on the identities thing. That's what is needed. I will set it up for her.

She always puts that type of phrase in "if you have questions, etc, please sent a reply to XXX" but they always just press the reply button to her.
