I was just given a gift of a new HP Desktop with Win8. My eyesight is limited, legally blind, and my patience is worse. I'm old and cranky, so I am told by my wife. I would like to install Win7 Home Premium 64-bit on this box as my operating system. My first question is: what do I need to purchase? I know I will have many more questions, I'll just start with this one.

Thank you
Kevin:rolleyes:

You can make Win 8 look just like Win 7 and older versions of Windows. For the price you will pay for a Win 7 CD, you could probably find a left over PC on the internet with Win 7 already installed for the same price or close to it.
