how do i get a replacement CD for a retail Version of Windows98 SE full install?

I scratched mine and am unable to get past 17% of the installation process

I tried using all kinds of products on it but the scratch is just to deep to repair.

Call Microsoft. They are usually quite helpful in replacing a legally purchased damaged Windows CD.

You can also borrow a 98SE from a friend and just enter your CD's numbers when it asks for them.

Finally, if you haven't already formatted the drive you're trying to install 98 on, the the C:\Windows\Options\Cab folder contains the contents of the 98 CD. You can do a reinstall from the setup.exe file in that folder.
