Does anyone know if I can rename a drive from within DOS?

I have a bootable usb disc that comes up as C: and I need it to be A: to enable network boot software to run correctly.

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. It may be that I can use the "Assign" command in certain versions of DOS. I will have to experiment anyway

    Thanks again
