How can I change the name of my CD-ROM from "CD Drive" to what ever I want?

AFAIK you cannot do that :( - in any case as soon as you insert a CD the label of the CD replaces 'CD Drive'.

However, while you can't rename the drive on your local PC, if you decide to share it you can name the share to suit yourself so others will only see the share name.
