If this question has been asked and answered here before I apologize. I have installed and I am dual-booting Vista HP and Win7 Ultimate and since Win7 is on a smallish hard drive I want to delete the Vista installation and use the drive, since it is a much larger drive. I have backed up everything I want from the Vista hard drive. Can I just reformat this drive and not lose my boot ability? Not quite a beginner but not very smart!:) Thanks a lot, Frank

I am sorry just had to look down the page! Easy BCD worked it's magic :). How do I mark this RESOLVED?

Sorry, upon later checking and trying to format the larger drive I found that though EasyBCD had changed the boot menu the boot files or whatever they are called were still on the older drive. I fixed this with the Windows 7 dvd. So if I confused anyone I'm sorry but the problem is solved so I'll try to mark it resolved.
