In my add/remove programs I have 3 programs
    Home Search Assistant
    Shopping Wizard
    Search Extender
When I try to delete them a message comes up
    Unable to open "http://looking-for.cc/uninstall/homeSearchAssistant.html "

I also keep getting a xxx Dialer on my desktop that closes my connection and tries to dial its own

For the first three items you mention some help here ....

    http://www.computercops.biz/postp227419.html

From Quicklinks in my signature download Ad-aware, immediately update it and configure it as shown here. Download Spybot and immediately update it. Run both, delete all Ad-aware finds and all that Spybot flags in red - green are usage tracks and their removal is optional. While you are in Spybot hit the immunise button and then the green cross immunise button to setup permanent protectection against a lot of nasties and for added protection ....

Download SpywareBlaster, update it and 'Enable all protection' under Quicktasks.
