When I use Windows Explorer to browse a folder that contains mainly media files such as MP3's, WAV files, or images (JPEG, TIF, etc.), XP insists on including media-related column headings such as Artist, Album Title, Year, etc. and removing the default heading "Date Modified" altogether. How can I get the default headings back?

    Thanks.

Hi frmurph1 - Welcome to the Board :)

In Explorer right click on one of the column headers, e.g. name and select from the list.

Then go Tools > Folder options > View - Apply to all folders.
