Removing accounts from Messenger dropdown window

    I cant find a way to remove unwanted hotmail accounts from within the dropdown window that appears when I log in to MSN Messenger..........can anyone help please ??

    Someone else with a similar problem managed to do this by going to Control Panel, User Accounts and changing the .NET Passport options in his account.
    I don't remember exactly what he did, but maybe eliminated the accounts and/or put in the present, working one.
