removeable discs

    Dear All
    am using windows xp professional and if i connect any removable discs it only shows in the system tray and doesnt appear in my computer and i cant access the drive also.Anybody have nay solution

    USB drives? Zip? Flash or pen drives? USB 1.1 or 2.0? Brand names?
