    Hello,

Here you can learn how to use FDISK. FDISK.EXE is a tiny DOS program which let you delete the XP NTFS partition, create instead a Primary DOS FAT32 partition so you can install there Windows98.
To be able to do all these, you need a Boot Diskette. I recommend you this one. After having made the win98 Boot Disk, you suppose to insert it in the A floppy drive of the PC where you want to install Win98, turn the PC on, let it load the the stuff from the boot disk and when you get A:\> prompt, just type fdisk- as below :

A:\>fdisk and press ENTER key to start.

When it's over, restart the PC (leave the boot disk inside), insert in CD-ROM drive your Win98 CD and when get A:\> do as shown below:

    A:\>r: hit ENTER key

R:\>setup hit ENTER key to start the Win98 installation.

    good luck

    Stefan

PS: you better make 2 partition on your HD as described in FDISK tutorial page.
    -a primary DOS FAT32 partition of 2GB (for Win98)
-a logical FAT32 partition, where you suppose to save your personal stuff (documents, pictures etc.)
