Remove listing from Add/Remove Programs if program was deleted

I was just doing a bit of cleaning up of the computer programs, and I have a question, after using the add/remove for programs that works fine, but I was wondering it still leaves the name of the program in the list, well that list is getting pretty huge and I was wondering is there an (Easy) way to remove those names, since I no longer have the program on my computer.

Double click any item you know is not installed and XP will ask you if you would like to delete it from the disk.

In the event that that doesn't work for you, post back for other ways.
