   There are 3 of these files listed in Add/Remove Programs:
   
   J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2, 4 and 6. They are 117 MB each.
   
   Also, there are two Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_05 and _06.
   
   Can I uninstall all but the latest of each of these? Thanks. -Bob

   All you need is JSE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 6
   
   As I recall the other versions do not get removed when the update is installed - it would seem to be a complete installation rather than an update in the normal sense.
