Would removing the IE Q813489, OE Q330994 and removing the "Q811493 ", then reinstalling the IE Q813489 and OE Q330994 be preferred or could this present problems?
    Concerned!

    Q811493

    Hi

I certainly removed this one and hadn't any problems.( Q811493) I know one thing I didn't think the computer was slow until I removed this & the PC sped .....

I did not have the IE & OE updates at that time as these are more recent. It may be advisable to remove them first as you have suggested.

I am not sure if they are interlinked but as things can get scrambled it might just be wise to do so.

I uninstalled Q811493 without first uninstalling any other patches that were installed after Q811493. During the removal process I received a warning that some of the patches installed subsequent to my installation of Q811493 may not work properly. I ignored the words of caution and proceeded with the uninstall of only Q811493 and I have not experienced any problems.

    Hi

Great to hear that you have proved that sometimes the warnings are not as they seem ! I would have been like yourself being very cautious.

I hope your computer likes the improvement.

It is nice to hear how things worked out ~ Thanks.

    :)
