Removal of Administrator

    I recently purchased a used Dell Dimension DE051 Computer. I added my name in the User Account and listed myself as the Administrator. I then deleted the original Administrator. However, when I attempt to access several programs, it states that I am not the Administrator. Is there some way to correct this problem? Or, will I have to restore the computer to its original condition?
