    Hello all,
I am having a problem with XP mounting a USB compatable Fuji camera (A202).
The camera is using the new "xD-Picture Card" storage device.
All software (most recent versions) installs completely and without error.
Device manager recognises the camera without conflicts and you can even get it's drive letter (G) if you dig further.
My problem lies in the fact that explorer will not display the removable media at all. Not just the contents but not even the drive letter.
"My Computer" only recognises my CD burner and the floppy drive under removable media.
Everything else points to the fact that camera exist as a mass storage device.
    Does anybody have any ideas.
    Cheers and TIA
    Graeme Clough

Sorry but no idea right off. However, I don't mind searching around a little. But first - Home or Pro? SP? When you use explorer or My Puter to map a network drive, is the drive you know you have the camera mounted on shown as available for a different mapping?

    Hi Newt,
XP Pro, no SP yet as no problems.
    Not even available for mapping.
I seem to have come across a partial solution however.
No matter what you do, it will not work if you turn the camera on before starting explorer.
It would appear that the only way you can get it to mount is to have explorer running first, then turn the camera on and it appears as removable media.
This will do for what I need now, but any further digging and ideas would be appreciated.
    Cheers
    Graeme
