Have been running Win2000 and have been using remote desktop without problem. Today, I get an error message: "The specified remote computer could not be found. Verify that you have typed the correct computer name or IP address, and then try connecting again. "

I have done so, to no avail. Another computer (running XP Pro) continues to access without problem.

I've rebooted. I tried deleting the program and re-installing, but that was unsuccessful; in part, not everything was deleted because after I re-installed, the drop down menu still had the computer listed. I even tried starting in Safe Mode with Networking, but still no go.

    Any suggestions?

    Briefly describe your network
    - domain or workgroup
    - DNS? DHCP?
    - etc.
