I looked around the internet but am not sure about this.. Can you have several concurrent connections into a Win 7 Pro machine or does the platform only allow one?

    Thanks all

AFAIK consumer versions of Windows (XP/Vista/7/8) allow only one remote desktop connection. The server editions however allow unlimited connections (depending on the version & licences).

One is the default number for Win7 Pro... Zero is the number for 7 Home...

Here's a patch/fix/tweak to change the number to two on 7 pro.
    http://www.serverwatch.com/server-t...rrent-remote-desktop-sessions-in-windows.html

I did this tweak a while back on an XP machine....

On server editions, the default number is two connections... But you can purchase Terminal Server CAL's at about $85.00 USD per user. (have to purchase in grups of five)

Yeah, after I posted I found that info. I also found that there is a possibility that if you run that patch, one could be violating Microsoft EULA--especially if used in a business environment

    Thanks all
