Resolved Remote desktop clients?

    Hi guys. A couple of my friends have moved town but still want me to carry on fixing their (XPPSP3 and W7) computers.

    I've not had much to do with remote control. What's the most effective software for this sort of thing? Free or paid - I'll consider anything as long as it's not too mindboggling.

    For some reason or other, I wasn't emailed\informed of any responses to my question, so I just checked in to see if anyone had replied, and, of course, you mainstay guys - rsinfo, TonyT and SpywareDr have provided valuable input.
