Are there any software tools that will let me control my WinXP HOME computer from my win2k pro computer at work?

NetMeeting will do it or you could get one of the 3rd party programs like PCAnywhere, NetOp, or others. But not free.

There may be some free remote control software out there that is safe to use. I say "safe" because several of the Trojan engines are really good remote control apps but used in a bad way.
