I am trying to use remote assistance through windows messenger. My friend and I are both using windows messenger 4.7. My friend has XP Home and I have XP Pro. When she used windows messenger to ask me for remote assistance, the message displayed that remote assistance is not installed or disabled on my pc.

I have gone through all remote assistance articles on microsoft's site and everything is set up on my pc as required. I would prefer using windows messenger for remote assistance because my friend is not very technical and sending a request through email is too much for her.

    Thanks for any suggestions.
