Remote Assistance in Windows XP

I had a person contact me through MSN Messenger asking for Remote Assistance and when we attempted it everything goes fine the screen comes up and they enter the password then I get a black screen and there is dialog box comes up labeled "Failsafe - Internal Error handler" which says "fsSTART()generated error 481, "Invalid Picture" inside FAILSAFE.BAS" . There is an OK button on this box but I can not click it because this came up before I was given control. I asked the other person to click the OK button but they replied that they couldn't see the error box and all they could see was a black box. I Googled the error and searched the Windows Help site but I couldn't find anything. I also did a search on my computer for "FAILSAFE.BAS" but I didn't have it. I asked the other party to do the same file search and they came up with nothing also. I am really at a loss and I hope one of you EXPERTS can help.
