    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/hacktool.rootkit.html

    remon.sys is hacktool rootkit.
Hacktool.Rootkit comprises a set of programs and scripts that work together to allow attackers to break into a system. If Hacktool.Rootkit is detected on a system, it is very likely that an attacker has gained complete control of that system. All files that are detected as Hacktool.Rootkit should be deleted. Infected systems may need to be restored from backups or patched to restore security.

Problem is it probably has more than one file involved.

DO ALL SCANS IN SAFE MODE

My first recommendation is to run this rootkit removal tool
    F-secure blacklight rootkit remover

    Then
    Please download
    Mcafee stinger multivirus removal tool
    Install and run

    Spybot search and destroy
    Ad aware personal form Lavasoft
Install, update, run, check for problems , fix problems.
    A Squared trojan remover
Download, install, update, scan and fix.

Update your antivirus and do a full system scan (Again boot to safe mode to do the scan)
Delete any files identified as this trojan

I would recommend that you backup any data, wipe the system and do a clean install of windows. Then verify the integrity of your data prior to restoring it to the clean system.
