Reminders to renew subscription

Several years ago I installed Giant Antispyware which was later bought out by MS, who changed the name to MS Antispyware. They have now discontinued this product and replaced it with Windows Defender. The original product by Giant had 2 great features, a cookie eliminator and a file cruncher - so even though I can not get updates for the antispyware I still want to use it for cookie elimination and file crunching. However since the subscription has expired I get notifications to renew it - which is impossible. Does anyone know how to stop the renewal notices without uninstalling Giant Antispyware?
