Reloading Windows XP

    can anyone tell me if i can reload my OS. i know you can do this with older versions.i never tried it with xp.can i reload with out formatting the drive??

    What is the problem you are having?

    I don't think XP will do like 98 would and simply replace missing or damaged files and leave everything else intact.

    OTOH there are quite a few good repair features in XP that older operating systems (and especially 9x) lack.
