    Just general question

    When does Microsoft release all of its new updates? the third Tuesday of every month or what?

    sniper9228: Somebody else will have to join in and provide the official word on that, but I downloaded 13 MS updates yesterday (Tuesday) for my XP system. Have you checked for any yet? I haven't seen any posts about it here so far.

    Updates/patches are released on the second Tuesday of each month, known as Patch Tuesday.

    A critical patch may, however, be released at any time.
