    Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone could run through how to reinstall a OEM copy of vista for me? I know these only come with one install, but I also read it is possible to reinstall, I just have no idea how to go about it. I've got problems that I can not seem to fix and this is my last ditch effort to hopefully fix my problems, any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Boot from the DVD (you may have to change the boot sequence in the BIOS), choose ‘Press any key to boot from CD/DVD’ and then Vista loads files, you type the Language, Time/Currency, Keyboard. Click Install now, type the Product key but don't allow Activation, click to accept the License and click Custom for a clean install. If you want to delete/create/format partitions, click 'Drive Options Advanced' and set it up accordingly.

Now the actual install will start. Don’t press a key when it reboots, just wait. The screen will flash 2-4 times, it will reboot. Type User name, Password (or ignore it), select a Picture. Choose later for Security. Review Date/Time and Vista checks the computer’s performance. It takes about 30 minutes to install and requires roughly 9GB of HDD space.
