    tried to reg regsvr32 msscript.ocx get error #0x00000485

    This generally means that the ocx (OLE Control Object) cannot be found.

    Do a search for it. There should be a copy in the system32 folder (in XP). If not, and you have a copy in the dllcache (in XP), copy that to system32.

    If that doesn't work, you may have a problem with path statements, but you could try using the full path in the command. For example:

    regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\msscript.ocx.
