Not sure if you are trying to export registry keys in Dos from within XP??? Or trying to find about Regedit?

    From Abraxas' post:
I have always used regedit to get to the registry editor in XP Pro. My information is that regedt32 is a "light" version which is not as powerful but I can´t detect any difference. It seems to me as I get to the same registry editor.

Is there really a difference or is it just a case of a lot of roads leading to Rome?

    Thanks,
    Christer

In XP, regedit and regedt32 were merged into regedit.exe. If you run regedt32, it is really calling regedit.exe.

In 2K they weren't and you could easily notice a major difference in features and behavior. Regedit wouldn't handle some newer data types at all.
