Windows Vista registry key can't open by error

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/Currentcontrolset/Control/Class/
click on key: {4d36e965-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
remove: UpperFilters en LowerFilters
This was a advice by dvd problems.(It alway try to format a dvd)
But I can't open the key because of a error. How can a open this key.
I have administrator rights, i have use several registry scans. I even thinks that it cause of more troubles: Ghost 14 can't make a recoverypoint, its comes no further than 5%. And Ashampoo 6 free go enumering the dvd drive for almost 12 minutes. Sorry for my English.

 

What error do you receive?

 

There is no error number!
Registry says:
Key can not be open because of a error (fault?)
Not able to open Properties.

Any Property of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/Currentcontrolset/Control/Class/

 

Ok, I do not use Vista and this could be part of additional security introduced since XP.

It is probably best to wait for others to make suggestions.
