I seem to have picked up a nasty(/nasties). Norton, Spybot and AVG don't detect anything, but something is using a lot of my bandwidth and I can't access the registry with regedit. There are definitely some things in my hjt log that shouldn't be there, but am not sure how best to remove them.

Any help would be much appreciated - hjt log is below.

    You have W32.Mytob.EE@mm
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WINDOWS SYSTEM] ninfoie.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WINDOWS SYSTEM] ninfoie.exe

Follow the manual removal instructions there to make sure you are clean and the damage repaired.
Note that merely stopping the process "WINDOWS SYSTEM" and deleting the file ninfoie.exe and removing the entries shown by hijackthis is not enough.
You need to correct the shared access change it made in the registry, and make sure your hosts file is not altered.
(See step 5 in the manual removal instructions at the bottom of their page)

    You have Worm SDBOT_Q
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [services] C:\WINDOWS\system32\windows32.exe
THis can be fixed with Hijackthis so I will put it in that section.

    This is trojan dyfuca,
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Internet Optimizer] "C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\optimize.exe "
    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/adware.netoptimizer.html
Is clear, and provides a removal tool. I suggest using it and then following up on the manual cleanup steps they show.

    You have instant access infection
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Instant Access] rundll32.exe EGDACCESS_1063.dll,InstantAccess
    http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/dialer.instantaccess.html
Their manual removal instructions are thorough, please follow them.

I would remove this program, "AdwareAlert "
It is listed on the database of antispyware rogue applications as a dubious program "false positives work as goad to purchase; inadequate info about company & app, no privacy policy "

Close all other programs and open Hijackthis and put a check by the following
    O2 - BHO: ohb - {8037F7F0-80B6-453A-A7CB-5371A4A09BB8} - C:\windows\system32\nsc39.dll
    F2 - REG:system.ini: UserInit=C:\WINDOWS\system32\Userinit.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WINDOWS SYSTEM] ninfoie.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WINDOWS SYSTEM] ninfoie.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IE6] tsass.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [services] C:\WINDOWS\system32\windows32.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Internet Optimizer] "C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\optimize.exe "
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WINDOWS SYSTEM] ninfoie.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [IE6] tsass.exe
    O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Instant Access] rundll32.exe EGDACCESS_1063.dll,InstantAccess

    How to show hidden files
If necessary you may need to boot to safe mode to delete some
How to boot to safe mode

If they have not been removed by the other tools/ steps remove these
    FILES
    C:\windows\system32\nsc39.dll
    ninfoie.exe ( Probably in C:\Windows, windows\system or windows\system32)
    tsass.exe (Same locations)
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\windows32.exe

    And FOLDERS
    C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer

IF you did not do this (intentionally disable regedit)
    O7 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System, DisableRegedit=1
    O7 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Pol icies\System, DisableRegedit=1
    Have Hijackthis fix them.

If these are not your ISP / Domain (If you do not recognize the IP addresses) let me know
    O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\..\{438F1A92-77B1-48B6-BCCD-CE68FF54CC91}: NameServer = 62.128.175.11,62.128.175.10,199.79.199.2
