I have followed the link to Editing the Install file for NS4.8
    How do I complete step 12 ?
    "Register the Package Components" ?
Running the setup file after editing but without performing step 12, results in the setup opening and then closing and nothing further happens.
    How do I fix this?

    Hi Jaws3,

"Register the Package Components" simply means you have to have those files listed in order for Netscape to run. If all those files are present, clicking on setup.exe should start your install.

You may have omitted a necessary component inadvertently. Check your editing again, to be certain.

Post back if you still have problems.
