    Hi:
I didn't find anything about Reg1Aid, but regcleaner was the closest to my problem, that's why I picked this option.
I downloaded Registry1Aid, and halfway through the first scan a warning window opened saying that the scan could not be completed because the first-aid program could not access a certain path. the scan stopped at 40% completed with scan details of what the program had done.
 Now my problem. I can highlight the info on the registry, shortcut, or invalid application entries, but I can't fix the problems, or close the program. I tried to restart my computer, and turn it off, but it would not accept the commands.
 What do I do? I'm a beginner at computers, so I'm like a fish out of water. Any response would be a great help. Thanks.

RegCleaner is the one to use.

    Boot to safe mode.

Run scandisk to be sure you have no disk problems.

then run RegCleaner in safe mode.

    In answer to your email.

If it is locked up power it off get back up download and install but do not run the following:

    Registry and System cleaners

    RegCleaner http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/shtml/regcleaner.shtml

    EasyClean1.7 <http://gswi.com/downloads.htm>

    then reboot to safe mode

Use add/remove and uninstall the Regaid

then run regcleaner on the main screen look for any programs that should not be on your computer like the regaid tag and delete them all. Then in regcleaners top tabs click tools-resistry cleanup-do them all

then easyclean (do not do duplicate files) in the start menu cleaner leave any thing it complains about.

Also do all in my 1st message.

    Mike
