I have xp pro as my OS and i use nero express as my burning software. Some times my CD-ROMS whereon i have written do not run properly and during their run they stops and shows redundancy cycle check eg if have written a software on a CD and then try to install it, its instalation process stops mid way and give fault of redundancy cycle check. I wanna know why this fault generates and how can we terminate its origin.

Are you burning faster than your media is rated for?

Have you tried the originals ? Perhaps there is some problem with them and you are looking at the wrong end ?

I have not had that error, but from the discussion here:
    http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=99089
I would think that the options would be to see if there is information at the drive manufacturer's website (and maybe a firmware update) or if it is still under warranty, return it. They seem to conclude it is a fault with the drive.
