I am encountering a strange NEW warning message that concerns me, because it surfaces when I am logged on to my online banking site.

It appears in the form of a standard message box, origin not discernable, with a tag of "alertâ€, and text indicating "Redirection limit for this URL exceeded. Unable to load the requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked.â€

I am unable to tie this new message to any specific event, i.e. an update or install.

Should I be concerned (since this is occurring when I access my online bank account)? I did do a search, and found considerable extraneous chatter about it, but nothing conclusive as to exactly what was causing this, or even the severity of the problem, or a solution that applied to my situation...

I am running Firefox 1.0, with XP, and it is a WaMu account...

Has FF ever signed you on with password?

Mine never has offered to and I have to enter them by hand. FF has always done it for other sites but never my OLB with Bank of America Site.

You might look at your cookie exceptions in options and see if there are any blocked things having to do with your OLB site.

Also maybe remove all cookies having to do with your OLB Site and have them reset on your next visit.

I'm not sure if this is the same situation you're encountering, but on several occasions I've had to cut and paste the url into the Firefox Cookies Exception list and then set it to Allow

This has happened even after I've successfully set up a new account, and responded back to the authorization email that you usually get.
It says everythings cool, but it won't let me login.
