    Hi!

I accidentally deleted some folders together with my deleted items. Is there any way for me to recover the messages inside those folders? Kindly explain to me the step by step procedure on how to do it.

    Thanks a lot!

    sapphire72 - Welcome to the Board :)

It is rather unlikely that you can recover the deleted folders, but .....

You might try this piece of software, but I have no experience of it so cannot pass comment on it's effectiveness.

When you delete a file or folder in Windows only the reference to that file or folder is deleted from the file system, the actual file/folder remains on the drive with the space it occupies flagged by Windows as available for use. The possibility of recovering a deleted file/folder diminishes rapidly with time and PC activity as it becomes more and more likely that the space on the drive occupied by those files/folders is reused.

Mail folders in OE are stored as *.dbx files - a program such as File Recovery may work for you.

    Good luck :)
