My first recommendation is - stay away from the registry and leave it well alone :)

If you insist - RegSeeker - just make sure that the backup box is checked and proceed with caution.

I also like Reg Seeker. A couple of reinstallations ago, I was having some rather bizarre problems with software that had never occured before, and it was a few months after I started cleaning out my registry rather aggresively. One thing I like about Reg Seeker is that it gives you the exact key and the accompanying info, so you can see if it really is something you want to delete. Other registry cleaners did nothing more than give me the name of the software it was originally supposed to be connected to, without letting me see the key itself. I don't know if that has changed or not, I'd sure never go back to using the older style of programs. Anymore, I only use it to delete one or two keys in particular (if I need to find/delete every reference in the registry to a particular program that I want to entirely wipe off my hard drive, before reinstalling), but never to clean the registry en masse--that, as well as disabling every single XP service you can get your hands on, is an over-rated solution to a slow computer.
